I can let you know soon. I'm in the process of doing this with seven Hyper-v R2 core hosts and two dss servers in a failover.

Please share as we are about to start embarking on this as well. I ordered parts to set up 2 small test V6 DSS's and a 2008 R2 test server but always looking for experiences about setting this up. We currently have a single production DSS and don't want to make any mistakes when it comes time to implement the autofailover

    Thanks!

    Hello

I'm using Open-E DSS 6 Lite with two Hyper-V 208 R2 cluster nodes. CSV, Live Migration and all the features are working very good with DSS. I created a blog post (German) about the setup: http://www.server-talk.eu/2009/10/15...s-mit-hyper-v/

    Cheers

We're still working on it ...

BTW: There is a new release of DSS: dss6.0up14_b4112 !

Another question: Has anyone performance tuning tipps? Which parameters (networking, LV options, ...) are optimal for Hyper-V? Is adding more RAM to DSS (autofailover, only iSCSI block IO) boosting the (replication?) performance? Is bonding for replication better?
    regards,
    Lukas

We currently are running 3902 and have the issue where file-io iscsi inits overload the system. Can we go straight from 3902 to 4112 using the automatic update? A user in another thread stated he had to do a kind of re-install to go from 35xx to 4xxx

Yes basically that is where I am at, I would guess pfeifferl has been granted access to a iso that has not been published yet.

Hmm... I'd like to get that update as I'd love to be able to access the LSI logs

Yes, sorry, I forgot - it is still RC. You can get it from >> ftp://ftp.open-e.com/In_Engineering_Phase/

I don't know if it is allowed to publish the username/passwor here ... you can write a PM to me ...
