Only the list from the link below do we have support for initiator mode only.

I've installed one in my DSS running version 5.0.DB49000000.3278. It's listed under hardware but nowhere else that I can see in the DSS GUI. Is there any way of making it work or do I have to buy an older model on ebay that doesn't support PCI-E?
Thanks

We dont have this card for testing but I think it will be used as a NIC only, check in the Setup > Network interfaces to see if it is there as a NIC. If not then you will most likely be better off using the older ones or go with a 1GbE NIC.
How about I sent it to you and you can test it/support it, then send it back?Originally Posted by To-M
Possibly but keep in mind they will only support it as an initiator not as a target. It will take some time for engineers to get to it. Send an email to support@open-e.com asking if you can send this in and verify if this can be used and if it is possible first before sending it in.
