    Default Raw Device Mapping for Ubuntu Linux

    I’m using ESX 3.5 with DSS 5.x. I am attempting to attach a Raw-Device-Mapping (RDM) for the new setup with Ubuntu Server as the OS. Vmware is able to see and allow the mounting of the RDM; Windows can be installed just fine, however Ubuntu Linux is unable to see the new drive. Any ideas? I have not tried any other Linux Distro types yet.

    You can try ESX 4.1 with dss player pro 5.
