Default How do I change to Backup Kernel

I understand the Qlogic Card target mode is broken with the new kernel as the drivers do not support it. How do I switch to backup kernel? Under CTL-ALT-C, all I see is 32 and 64 bit with the newer kernel. I don't see an option for a backup kernel. Where do I find this?

    Thanks

CTRL + ALT + T then Boot options then System architecture then select backup kernel then save and reboot.

I forgot if you are using DSS ver. 3511 and higher you wont have that option. Only in DSS ver. 3278 and this is noted in the release notes for 3278. There is no mention for 3518 as this is not available.

I am using version 3518. Should I back rev to 3278? Is that safe to do? Any other things I can try?

I just want to confirm my issue. I upgraded to 3518 and now I cannot connect to any of the FC volumes. The DSS box is in Target mode.

    Thanks

I need you to download the DSS 3278 Demo - CD version to get kernel back. Check the support response that I sent but use an FTP program.
    All the best,
