Thread: StorageLink for Citrix

    Default StorageLink for Citrix

    Hello everyone.

Is a StorageLink driver for Citrix (XenServer and/or Essential) on the roadmap?

Considering the death of VirtualIron, many users are switching to XenServer (avoiding VMware) and having an Open-E StorageLink would be a big plug...

Especially when products like Datacore have one.

I agree. We are moving from VI to XenServer and that would be a very desirable feature....

Just wanted you all to know that we are looking into - just give us some time as we have sooo many requests and cant do them in short order. Thanks for bringing this topic up atleast we know some of you are needing it and that helps us to position this feature
    All the best,

We are looking for Citrix capability as well. Maybe there should be a poll?

Ditto! We are looking on moving to Citrix from VI ourselves. So heres another vote for the pot!

It been 4 months. Anything new on the StorageLink front?

    Default Me, too!

We're re-evaluating alternatives to VI - it's running well for us, but we need a solution that's introducing new technologies and capabilities - and really cheap! We have a couple of Xen servers running and that's a good possibility. StorageLink would make it much easier to implement Citrix XenServer for us.

While its not Storagelink, the latest version of DSS V6 build 4362 and build 4221 supports Xenserver using SCST instead of having to use IET as was the case before.
