    Default monitor the disk used

    Hi experts,

    Is there any method that i can monitor the disk space used or can i get a notification when the system is having less disk space on DSS.

    You can view in the GUI in STATUS -> logical volume -> Function: Logical volume statistics (details are for NAS and Snapshot volumes, Block volumes will be owned by the host systems) . We have more future requests concerning this topic and others to develop a notification on what reports are to be emailed similar to this.

    Is there any way that we can monitor using snmp? as i am currently monitoring the other OS like Windows and Linux with the help of some monitoring tools.(Like IP host ... etc)
    in the same way can the system hard disk be monitored.

    We do have SNMP for versions 2 and 3 and we comply to MIB II standards (we dont have support for traps yet but it is being looked into - no ETA). Your RAID controller should have an email alert ability as well and if you are using a SATA controller you can use the SMART feature in our product additionally.
