Get a SAS expander card and a SAS expansion chassis. They're normally kind of expensive, but you can buy SAS expander cards that break out one SAS x4 port into 24 or 32 SAS ports. Put them in your chassis of choice. And, of course, get an Open-E license expansion key.

I know online expansion currently works, but you can't have it be autofailover without stopping the autofailover task.
