Exclamation Cannot save photoshop files on NAS.

    Hi,
    I'm using

    Model: Open-E NAS-XSR ENTERPRISE
    Version: 3.11.XE00000000.2522
    Release date: 2007-01-17

with a Areca Raid controller model ARC-1261ML.(raid 5)

I create a photoshop file and save it to the NAS,
it says 'could not save as "\\nas\...\untitle.psd" Because the disk is full .'

Please help! I am currently having to save locally and transfer (copy)all
files at the end of the day!

check your server statistics to see if you have any disk space left.
also check to raid to verify to raid status, if you have a bad drive it may not let you write to the disk
Are you getting any error messages?

Just a thought but not sure without looking into the logs, are you using any Antivirus? Also you might want to try to run the Filesystem Repair utility in the Extended tools, when running this tool please know that it will restart the system once completed.
    All the best,

it appears that Photoshop sets the Group and Everyone permissions to read-only
( you can change it manually ) but if another user used the same file and edit it , photoshop will set the permissions again to Read-only.

Also you may already open the .PSD file as a "ReadOnly" option. look for that when you start opening your file.

For repair photoshop documents there is a recovering from photoshop. The utility uses modern wizard allowing to scan and analyze invalid psd data and repair it. The tool is compatible with any system configuration.
