Slow network

I have Open-E installed on a Dell PowerEdge 1900 with Broadcom Netextreme 5709 (Dual Port iSCSI offload) interface on a the PCI Express bus. The network transfer for a 2.5 GB file takes about 5 minutes where as on a other servers it takes about 2 minutes.

I have the ports bonded with balanace-rr. I need some suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue effectively.

Have you tried removing the bonding and going directly to only one network card?
