    Is there a way to modify MTU on the network interfaces for DSS v6?

    make sure your nic can support the changes you want to make

    I've tried setting the MTU to 9000 but it always says 'wrong size frame'

    check the card specs for max frame size

    try a smaller frame size

    Yes the network controller chipset defiantly supports jumbo frames.
    If the links are not bonded enabling jumbo frames on eth0/eth1 works.
