tried it already, but it does not work. After switching off NFS there are no users shown under status/connections/Active NFS user connections - but when I switch NFS on again, all the users appear again (although there should be no connections at all). Very strange...
I also tried in addition to switch off NFS for the shares, but it also has no effect.
On the NFS Share Access of the Share do you have checked No Root Squash and nothing in the IP range? Or try to put a specific IP Address just to test for a specific system just for testing purposes.
No root squash is checked; tried different combinations of allow access IP and allow write IP (empty/empty, just one/just one, more than one/more than one, ...), nothing worked.
Seems that some status files are not updated. I have also problems with a deleted share, which I can after deleting not newly create - gives me an "Error: resource already exists", although I have just deleted it. But this is maybe a different thread, or might it be related?
Is there any update planned? I use version 1.89.E000000000.2024.
To delete the share go to Resources and then uncheck default path then a window should open up and 2 buttons should appear - Add & Delete. Find the share - click on the share you want to delete then click on the Delete button. Currently there are no new updates for the NAS Enterprise.
Now I am getting a little bit confused. In my version to remove a share I have to click on the share (in the resource panel on the left side which shows Shares, Users and Groups). When I then scroll down the right frame there is a "Function: Share remove" and a remove button.
When I proceed as you suggested I get a message asking "Are you sure you want to delete current folder and all content?", and thats not what I want to do, just want to remove the share, and keep the data.
Now it is even more strange behaving: all my shares are gone but one - but I did not remove any?
Is it possible to reinstall the current version as this might solve my problems?
