install DSS on ESX 3.5?

Hello all,

I want to try out DSS. I thought the easiest way would be to install it as an VM on my ESX server.
But although the "live" version is working, the "software installation" terminates with "installation unsuccessful".
Is it possible anyhow and do I have to choose special settings ? (e.g. linux-version, scsi-ctrl ...).

I have been using DSS 6 Lite with VMware ESX 4 with no issues. I just specify OS as other (32 bit), and it loads and runs. No issues.
