Hello,

I have a machine with OPEN-E DSS V6 on it. It has 4x 10Gbit NICs.
I also have 2 Xenservers connected to it (with crossover cables).

The Open-E machine and the 2 XenServers are also connected to a switch, for management and web traffic.

I want to give the Open-E machine an ip: 172.16.0.1 and bridge that to 2 10Gbit NICs.
Now i want to give the Xenservers 10Gbit NIC the IP address: 172.16.0.100 and the other XenServer: 172.16.0.101. So for storage they can both connect to the Open-E: 172.16.0.1.

I see no way to make a bridge. I only see how to create a Bond, which is not what i need.
In OpenFiler it was able to create a Bridge (normal Linux), it should even be possible to create a bridge of two bonded interfaces (so the bridge has a bond0 and a bond1 under it) ! Can someone tell me how this should be possible with Open-E ? Or any planning ? I even tried to hack the box.. escaping from the boot proces.. breaking in on the disk.. etc.. but i don't like that way..

I prefer not to use an expensive 10Gbit switch, besides.. that introduces another SPOF (the switch, mostly the power supply of the switch, can fail).
