Default Installing Problems ? Cannot Save Key

When trying to install the software on a brand new machine with a brand new hard drive in it, it says Cannot Save Key.

I don't even get to the part to install it, it just ask's to put in my key, then when i put it in it gives this error.

Exactly the same issue here. Older hardware but new drives, new DVD drive, new USB drive to install onto and just stops at this point. Piece of ****. No explanation - just "cannot save the product key" What in **** is that meant to mean anyway?

**** it, nothing but headaches TRYING to use DSS, back to openier for me.

'cant save product key' == typically if the media is read only, like running from the cdrom.
The product is installable without a product key in trial version mode.
If you have been running and booting from the cdrom, and the trial has expired, a new full install needs to be done on a writable media.
The video posted above can have you going in 10 minutes.

wadeal -- I edited your profanity. We would appreciate you not using such in these forums.
