Running DSS web interface from remote desktop causes remote desktop to pin CPU
Hi,
When I run the DSS web interface in a computer, while being remotely connected to it using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc.exe), on certain screens, the mstsc.exe on the remote system pins the CPU. I suspect the web page is performing many updates in quick succession that is having to be updated over remote desktop connection, and causing the situation.
I would like to see if anyone else has noticed this problem, or can reproduce the problem; and if there are any good work-arounds.
An example of a page that causes this issue is CONFIGURATION => volume manager => vol. groups, while trying to add a new volume group (i.e. the user interface where you can click on check boxes units, and select if you want to add a new volume group or new dynamic volume, and enter the name of the volume group, but prior to hitting "Apply").
