Default open-e gui no longer working

    hi

    i have 2 SAN's both running DSS V6.0up50.8101.4786 64bit

today i noticed i can no longer browse to the management gui ip address. it still worked okay last week. the units have probably both been up and running for a good 9 months or so.

i can ping the ip address and all NFS and issci volumes are working okay.

i have contacted the hardware vendor who have suggested to restart the SAN to see if that fixes the issue. if that is the only way i guess i have no choice but was wondering if they are another way to do this?

    best regards

Are the nodes in failover configuration?

Yes, it seems the best option would be to plan short maintenance window for reboot and update to newest version. It should be done as soon as possible as I believe it to be just a matter of time before everything goes down.

san remained up and running and rebooted this weekend and gui is now restored, i ran out of time to do the software upgrade so will do during next maintenance window. i will first update the firmware of my SAN in the DR site to see if anything comes up rather than updating production SAN first.

    regards
