Thread: Only 2 TB with 6x 1 tb drives (raid5)

    Below are the details shown from the 3dm ware page. I hope this helps.

    The only other detail I can think of is that the stripe size was set to 64 kb, but I'm not sure if this would have made any difference.

    I saw this KB from 3Ware and being that it is a 9500 series you may want to try to enable the Auto Carving to see if you will see the 2 seperate arrays then you can add them together in the disk manager. I was thinking there would be an option for LBA 64bit mode but not an expert on the old controllers.

    So I might need to enable Auto Carving and or create more than on array, then join them together, or will NAS 2.0 still only see 2 tbs?

    How would I create more than one array?

    It will see 2 Arrays then create one Volume group then add the other to that volume group.
