Default open-e iSCSI SMB (IDE) firmware upgrade or replace with open-e iSCSI-R3

    Hi!

Can i replace an open-e iSCSI SMB (IDE) device with an open-e iSCSI-R3 device?
Is it possible to update the iSCSI SMB device? if yes, where can I get the firmware?
    Model: Open-E iSCSI SMB
    Version: 1.60.IE00000000.1722

I ask, because the last few days, we get the following error:

    iSCSI-T kernel: execute_task_management(1177) 6f88fc 5 ffffffff

    Thanks for the help!

    Default

The iSCSI SMB cannot be installed on the iSCSI-R3 USB module.

The latest version of iSCSI SMB is v165_b2316 that is if you have the iSCSI SMB, the iSCSI SOHO is different and so is the iSCSI Enterprise.

For end of life products we can offer you a 50% discount on the all End of Life products, the iSCSI SMB is EOL on 30th June 2007.

If your are interested please submit this to our pre-sales@open-e.com team and we will provide you the contact information on who will assist you.
    All the best,
