No errors on either side's event viewer. Both sides have Intel 1gb server NICs, and there have been 5 physical machines I have tried to format with all using various Intel gbit nics. Three of them being 2k8, one was Windows 7, and I also tried XP.

I have also tried changing the MTU size on the Open-E nic from 9000 to 1500 and back.
