    Default DSSv6 and ADS 2008 R2 (64-bit)

    Hello,

does anyone in there connected his DSSv6 successfully into a ADS 2008 Server R2 (64bit) Domain?

Actually I got some problems with the connection. In comparison it works fine with ADS 2003 Domain.

Maybe anyone got some information for me! thx!

ok.. seemed to be a lucky shot...
I still have troubles to connect to Windows Server 2008 R2 Domain.
2003 works fine... but if i want to connect to 2008 R2 (native) im not able to connect...

Got Error: Connection problem or Database empty...

The thing is, i already connected to the domain once... but only once.

    Has anyone any idea?

Do you see any evens on the AD when you try join the domain?

well, on the AD Server I can see the Storage. If you that mean. I am able to ping the AD 2008 Server from the storagetools in the console too without any packet loss.

I am shure that its no technical problem, cause I am able to connect to our AD 2003 Server. (succesfully) So I am able to see the SMB Settings etc.

Applied the internal LDAP settings and tried again to connect to the AD 2008 R2.

Hope I installed the AD correctly. But I think so, cause I was able to connect to the AD 2008 once...
Maybe other ones got the same problem..

Well I got it working. I just resetted the SETUP and CONFIGURATION in the console. Now I am able to connect to the AD2008 without any problems. Thankfully it is just a testing system, i wouldn't do that in a productive environment.
