Default Statistics: CPU Load - what does it mean

    Hi there,

I have a general understanding of what CPU Load is (as explained by Wikipedia). As I understand it, anything less than a value of 1, means that no processes where waiting. Anything higher than '1' means the CPU was overloaded for that particular time period.

    Is that correct?

Our CPU usage is less than 10% at any given time (hour/day/week/month/etc).

Our CPU Load spikes zig zags up and down from 0 to 2 through-out the day. When we do manual failover's back and forth (testing) it can spike up to 3-4. If we run a file init on a new volume this can go up to 8. Is this average? Good? Bad?
