DSS does not like network 192.168.255.0/24

When I try to add my DSS to my ADS I get "invalid IP" when I provide the IP of my ADS Server (192.168.255.211).
When I enter an IP from another class C network i.e. 192.168.254.211 the installation would continue.
It's not the first time that some tool thinks 192.168.255.0/24 is not valid - but it is and does work well since many years.
Is this limitation also present in the full version?
It makes no sense using DSS without connection to Active Directory.
I won't switch my class C network to make it work.

Any ideas or workarounds?

Dear twKDV,
This issue is working fine with DSS full version ( Registered version ) but it does not work in lite ( maybe in future builds for lite it will).

and for the old builds of full DSS version, there is a small update for it to make it work
( but unfortunately we do not support the lite version with a small updates ).
