Hello techfreakz,

Do you have experience using a usb stick for open-e?
Because It seems to be a special issue to activate the usb-boot on a poweredge 2950.

Secondly: Do you have experience with the dell special drive bay style (satu) ?

Best,
T.

We are using a PERC6 controller now with SATA and SAS drives. Previously we just used the onboard NON-RAID controller with SATA drives in software RAID, which also worked.

I have no experience with the Tape Drive, I'm afraid.
