    Default ADS connection Problem after DC crash

    Hi,

    first of all DS worked fine till this morning. Then our Domain Controller crashed. Corresponding to that crash DSS V6 locked Kerberos problems. O.k, understandable. But after the domain conroller went up again it is not possible to access shares any longer. I reestablished connection to ADS within nas configuration and when showing acl on any nas share the right users and groups are displayed instead of only thi uids and gids, but still, when trying to access a share a window pops up and I am asked to enter credentials. Even if I do so, connection is rejectet. What is needed to be done in order to correct that problem? Any service to be restartet? I would like to avoid restarting the whole appliance. Thanks.

    no solution on this matter? Isn't this the official forum? Sorry for asking, but I thought support is included when buying a 16TB license.

    If you want official support, you need to open a ticket with Open-E. This community support for what I call "non-critical" issues. Do not post to the forum if your system is down for example.
    You may need to be aggressive with Open-E to get problems resolved though. I like Open-E alot, but I do think they need to up the ant tee on their support as I DO NOT feel like it's up to par.
    But regarding your issue, have you investigated your logs?
