Once again: SAS Multipathing

Hello!

I have found one or two threads in this forum from 2009.
So I want to ask, if there are any updates?

Basically, I want to connect an external storage unit (e.g. IBM DS3500) with 2 SAS HBAs.
I know, that LSI HBAs and drivers support this.

So, is it working with Open-E?
If it is not working with two HBAs, is it working with one dual-port-HBA?

Same question - I have 2 LSI 9200 SAS2 HBAs and dual port enclosure, try to connect both pathes, but multipathing does not works - all HDDs in enclosure visible twice.
SW latest - 5087

Multipathing on RAID controllers with the LSI is not supported, we are looking into this in future releases. No set ETA as to when but will be on the release notes or our email blast when you enable in your user portal for Subscriptions and click on Products Updates Info to be notified.
