Default problem setting up volume replication

hi guys, i have followed the guide provided by open-e for setting up volume replication but am having a problem

i have two sans, x.x.x.145 (san1) and x.x.x.146 (san2) i have set them up as per the guide however on san1 in replication tasks I cannot see any volumes in the destination source dropdown box.

    What could be causing this?

    thanks in advance

    tim

    A few things to check:

    valid dns
    valid gateway
can you ping the other Appliance from the console?

can you try enabling the WAN check box, and see if shows up then.

    1) Check that the volume sizes are the same size.

    2) Check that they are both either Block IO or File IO as they have to be the same

    3) Check that the Destination is not still running the iSCSI initializing (better to use Block IO).

    4) Can you ping from the Console tools to the Destination IP?

Try to delete the destination volume and re-create it again.

    logical volume 256gb LvDataStorage_101, NAS
    target0 LUN0 LvDataStorage_100
Vol Replication both set as source, mirror IP x.x.x.147
    nothing showing in dropdown box

    san2
    bonded nic 4+5
    x.x.x.147
    255.255.255.0
    auto
    x.x.x.x.9

upload the logs via support, and we can take a look.
Or better yet, toss up some screenshots of the setup, here on the forum.
