cannot ftp write to NAS share

we set up a share "syslog"

activated ftp for share syslog:

anonymous

allow access: a class C

allow write: a class C

user user1 is given access to syslog

group users is given access to syslog

ftp'd as anonymous from the Class C to syslog share. cannot PUT or STOR file or MKDIR

How can this be so hard?

Try with FileZilla, i just tested this w/ Anonymous mode and was able to see the /pub
