    The best would be to setup your Snapshot size to 10 -12% of the total size of the NAS Logical Volume and you wont have this issue of the overflow.

    Is it possible that your suggested 10- 12% don't work if the replication source and the destination are on the same LV?

    This will work, but would be insanely slow.

    Better to just create more LV's since you can create as many as you need.
