    Post 10GbE Card and Teaming/bonding

    Hi,
I would like to know if I can use teaming/bonding features using two or more 10GbE cards
if yes, which type of NIC do you suggest and wich configuration I will need to adopt at eth switch level.

    thanks

I am pretty sure you can. If the switch is close using NIC's with CX4 connections and cables is going to be the cheapest.

someone has already tested a 10GbE solution? could you suggest me which type/model of NIC and 10GbE Switch did you use?

    go here:
    http://www.open-e.com/service-and-su...compatibility/

choose V6, and search by '10GB' as the keyword. Lots of NICS supported.
    some are certified.

For bonding, its recommended to use the same type of NICs/chipsets in the bond, and same at each end of the bond.
The bond type can also be decided, just make sure whatever you use, the switch supports it.
