Thread: hpc connection to open-E NAS

Default hpc connection to open-E NAS

We have a NAS volume with open-E DSS. We can only connect the head node of our hpc cluster to the NAS, while the child nodes of the hpc cluster can not be connected because the file system in the NAS can not be exported to the nodes. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Default hpc connection to open-E NAS

The nas is nfs mounted to the head node of our cluster via a nic which sees our public network. The cluster has an internal cisco switch, the interior nodes connect to the head node via ethernet on a second nic which sees only the private network. nfs protocol prevents me from mounting the nas filesystem to the interior nodes. Is there some way the nodes can see the nfs mounted nas on the head node?
