    Question OPEN-E DSS V6 logical volume replication

    Hi guys.

    We have 2 Open-e DSS v6 and we will to configure replication but we're not sure about the correct way of our actions.

    In every DSS it's created one VG with 2 Logical Volumes. The intention is this

    DSS1 VG0 LV000 --> DSS2 VG0 LV000
    DSS1 VG0 LV000 <-- DSS2 VG0 LV001

    In the process described in the step-by-step guide to synchronous volume replication (BB) over LAN, only shows a unique volume group in every DSS.

    Perhaps we have to create 2 VG's with one Logica Volume in every DSS. It's correct?
    Or maybe there is another way to do.

    Thanks for your Help.

    Sorry, the correct replication what we will do is
    DSS1 VG0 LV000 --> DSS2 VG0 LV000
    DSS1 VG0 LV001 <-- DSS2 VG0 LV001

    Yes this will work where DSS1 VG0 LV000 is the Source and DSS2 VG0 LV000 is the Destination and the DSS1 VG0 LV001 is the Destination <-- DSS2 VG0 LV001 and this is the Source.
    All the best,

    The source will have data (shares, targets). The destination is used as the copy.
