FTP root directory for users

Has anybody else come up with a solution to this? I have a backup application that only backups up to a root folder and need this capability.

This can be done on the client side. Define a default connection path.

The problem of some clients (mpix cameras in my case) is, that definition of default connection path is not provided.

As I see the problem, specifing root directory for FTP users is a security hole. So next step is on client developers.
