Thread: Unable to mount NFS from vSphere 4.1

  1. #1

Default Unable to mount NFS from vSphere 4.1

I am currently testing DSS v6 as a virtual appliance in vSphere 4.1

I am unable to mount NFS share to ESXi 4.1 from vCenter - Error: Unable to complete Sysinfo operation.

I don't think the problem is on the vSphere side as I am already using NFS on the ESXi from Qnap NAS.

In NAS settings I have activated Use NFS, and for the share I have deactivated Use SMB and activated Use NFS.

I have an allow IP range for both read and write, and only option activated is No root squash.

    Default

    Got it.

Seems that I needed to add the NFS share to Granted access shares for the Users group.
