As To-M says, DSSv5 will not have support after 31-MAY-2011.
So the best solution is to UPGRADE.
Below you can find instruction how to update to version5 build 4562 from 3xxx, (b.4562 is the latest build of DSSv5, so at least get the latest build before end of support).
1. Download Atlanta2 (b4562) from the link above;
2. Burn Atlanta2 on CD, USB DOM;
3. Put media with Atlanta2 to machine;
4. Restart version (b3xxx)
5. Boot from Atlanta2 and run "Software Installer";
6. Install Atlanta2 on b3xxx media (Configuration from b3xxx should be automatically moved to Atlanta2);
7. When installer finish, restart machine and remove Atlanta2 media, leave old-version where should be now Atlanta2 with old configuration;
8. Boot Atlanta2 (build 4562 ).
Go to the open-e website www.open-e.com
then you will find a Trial version that work for 60 days and support unlimited TB, or you can get the LITE version that deal with only 2TB and for unlimited time.
As I understand to your last post, if I will create a bootable USB & boot from it, and then test new version environment. It will have not distrub my existing version. Am I correct?
