Unrealistic iostats After Reboot

In order to read the raw disk speed you need to convert the KB to MB/S, each sector is 512 bytes, and 512 bytes equal 0.5 KB.

This peak of 10 M after a reboot (two actually) is accurate then?

If it is accurate, then I would have to assume the system is hitting the cache on the controller repeatedly to achieve those numbers as the drives will not produce that throughput.

The unfortunate side effect of this behaviour is the statistic graphs do not show realistic results until these peaks scroll off the graph, which takes a while for the yearly graph.

Clear your system logs (delete them) will help you to get clear statistic.
status ->hardware -> Logs.

Also what is the build you are using now? try to get the latest build.

Version: 6.0up65.8101.5217 64bit
Release date: 2011-02-28
Updates: N/A

I believe that is the latest.

Unfortunately clearing the logs did not clear the statistics.
