After re-booting our DSS system, the iostats on our primary volume have gone through the roof - 10 M or 10 million. This would be great if it were realistic, but it is not and now this historical report is completely useless as all the realistic values are obscured by this value.
Is there any way to edit or reset the statistics to remove these invalid peaks?
This peak of 10 M after a reboot (two actually) is accurate then?
If it is accurate, then I would have to assume the system is hitting the cache on the controller repeatedly to achieve those numbers as the drives will not produce that throughput.
The unfortunate side effect of this behaviour is the statistic graphs do not show realistic results until these peaks scroll off the graph, which takes a while for the yearly graph.
