    Hi,

create new Volume Group or if you already did it, try via console CTRL+ALT+X and "Select default Volume Group".

    Question

What is the purpose of System Volume? What kind of Volume Group, should I mark as System Volume, mean data volume group or create a separate small volume group for System Volume?

I have a LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 8208ELP/8208ELP. at the moment when I run open-e it doesnt show my volume. do I need to run H/W raid first through the LSI bios? or should I be able to see my volume through the GUI?
