    I am unable to access the web interface. I can't even ping the device so I don't think it even gets to the point of setting up the network interface.

    Can you do CTRL ALT N from the console then setup the IPs on the NIC.

    Lets back up to the beginning for a second.....


    Are you trying to install from a cd?
    Or are you booting from a USB Drive, or other boot media?

    If you are booting from another boot media, how was DSS installed there in the first place?

    This ended up being a RAID issue. Server is back online.

    Just out of curiosity did you have the boot volume on the raid array, or was it a separate usb or sata dom?

    only data is on the raid disks, boot volume is on the USB DOM

    Gr-R,

    the original poster wrote that the system dopped to a command prompt during boot. The system has not even come up yet, so there's no way to "download form the web ui"...
