    Gr-R,

the original poster wrote that the system dopped to a command prompt during boot. The system has not even come up yet, so there's no way to "download form the web ui"...

I had to reboot the system after I got messages about out of memory and swap space.

after reboot of system, and after the text : loading.... the system goes to prompt #
this happens without any error messages.

how to recover from this ?

It seems that you are running your DSSv6 on a USB flash memory or a DOM, and mostly you need to re-install your DSSv6 or use a new USB/DOM as the old one may not function well.

Just out of curiosity did you have the boot volume on the raid array, or was it a separate usb or sata dom?

only data is on the raid disks, boot volume is on the USB DOM

i think, problem is that I did not set up this system, but from what i can read from the documentation there is 16 , 1TB disks and the Open-E is started from USB DOM

Problem solved, new boot media in use, only problem now seems to be slow respond to the offline avtivation file request that was sent to activation@activation-key.com
license is currently expired so no access to the files on the server
