Cannot connect to Open-e V6 current build 64bit with macbook 10.5.8 using smb!

    Regarding to this Issue:

Is this issue fixed and I have a different issue, or I have to use afp!?

    Best,
    T.

Are you using LDAP and do you have users w/ passwords? Try with Guest and no passwords.

We use just the internal open-e LDAP to store users/password...yes.
If I try with guest and no password and it works, how would help me that - It's necessary to have users with passwords.

What I was trying to test is if you can connect via smb and looks like you can so now let me ask are you using any ACL from the DSS V6? Also does this happen to all users? Try to create a new share and see if that helps.

Did you say you are on build 5217?
    All the best,
