DSS with Promise SX8300 does not work

Hello,

i try to install a Open-E testsystem with an Core2 CPU and 8GB RAM

I installed an Promise Fasttrack SK8300 Controller with 8 x 1TB Hard Disk
(Raid5 or Raid10, i even tryed Raid1)
and one 500GB Disk connected to the Mainboad (Intel S3200)

When i start Open-E the system shows me the Promise Controller, but only the 500GB Hard Disk shows.

What am i doing wrong?

I can not see the Raid Drives?

try using software raid
I read some post in the past that dss lite v6 does not support software raid
I could be wrong

did you get this working with the 1tbs? know it was a while ago, but I am buying drives to put on an sx8300.

This one will work:
SuperTrak EX8300

but the Promise Array Manager will not work from DSS.
