DSS V6 with DSS V5 license after hardware exchange?

hello,

after a hardware exchange (USB Disk-on-Module) caused by a failure we recieved a new DOM with DSS V6 Lite. We tried to activate the license using the original key but it looks like the license is not compatible. is there a possiblity to get DSS V5 software or to activate DSS V6 somehow with the "old" key?

Dssv6 key is different not the same as DSSv5 key, so you can NOT activate with "old" key
( even you can not activate DSSv5 with a key related to DSSv6).

You can buy a new key for DSSv6 and apply it to your DOM ( as the Dssv5 is an End Of Life) product.

Or you can remove DSSv6 from the DOM and install DSSv5 on that DOM, then activate it with the key that you already have.

thanks for the reply. where can I download DSS V5 Lite to activate the license? There are only links for DSS V6 in the trial section.

P.S: the expactation was to get a fully working system after hardware replacement instead of playing around with a demo version. I know it's not your fault but it's kind of annoying.

In case of replacement for the DOM, we start to send DOMs that already have DSSv6 installed on it when we start to have EOL for the old product.
