    Default Does open-e support hot swap drives?

    On a hardware raid controller? It is the latest DSS release and an adaptec 51645 controller. I think I have a hard drive going out...

    Yes if you are using the RAID controller that supports this with marking the bad drive properly with the vendors requirements - I would check the logs from the controller on that bad drive.
