hi,
i have recently bought new kit to install open-e dss v6 64bit to replace my v5 32bit servers.
but after installation i logged in throught the web to activate the product i noticed something wrong in the vol manager section it can only see 2 of the 3 raid arrays.

my new build consists of:
motherboard: tyan s2927-e
cpus: 2x amd opteron 2222
ram: 2x kingston kvr667d2d4p5/k2 4gb
primary hdd (for os): kingston 16gb ssd
3ware 9650se 8port raid pcie x8:
Array1Raid5: 4x 500gb raid5 (Unit S000 - os can't see this)
Array2Raid1: 2x 1tb raid1 (Unit S001)
Array2Raid1: 2x 1tb raid1 (Unit S001)
any help much apprecieated.

I can see that you have Not supported in the image, please choose the correct bit mode for your system, the following KB should help you:

but i want 64bit mode as this is all 64bit compatible haredware.

Sorry i did not get you right, your system is created with 32-bit Right?
and now you want to run it as 64-bit ??
Well if thats what you want, then you have to create your unit again with 64-bit.
Backup your data, remove old 32bit unit, create new one, and then return your data back from the backup.

its a brand new system, all raid arrays were created fresh using 3ware bios and i have already installed open-e dss v6 64bit and activated it.

problem solved for anyone with tha same issue, the 3ware 9650 controller was out of date, i just updated its firmware to april 2011 from lsi and it now works.
