large amount of small file

Hi,

we want to store about 90,000,000 small files on a 20 TB volume.
the files are named as there 265SHA and we will do a hex folder structure
\0
\0\A
\0\B
\1\A

can we put it all on ONE volume or do we have to split it on several volumes. can open-e handle this amount of files?

You can place all in one volume, I would make sure you have a good bit of memory for this many files, maybe 12GB or more.

And for a better performance, make your system run as 64-bit.
