Thread: Strange speed in the LAN.

    Ok but you did not mention any thing about your system, such as : are you using NAS or iSCSI, using a stand alone server or VMware, using a cross cable or else. As more details you give, more easier to find the issue or what cause it.

    Try to use the DSSv6 as Trail (Demo) and see if there is a difference with the performance or not, you can get the trial for DSSV6 from our website.

    You may need to tune your system to get better result.
    For ex:
    1. From the console, press CTRL+ALT+W,
    2. Select Tuning options -> ....
    4. change the MaxRecvDataSegmentLength and MaxXmitDataSegmentLength values to the
    maximal required data size (check w/ the initiator to match if you are using iSCSI).

    maxRecvDataSegmentLen=262144
    Maxxmitdatasegment=262144
    maxoutstandingr2t=8
    InitialR2T=No
    ImmediateData=Yes

    If you are not using iSCSI, try to tune other tunning options.
