Is there a way for testing the performance of the raid array inside the SAN? I'm getting trouble with nfs performance and I dont know if this is a network or disk problems...
Thanks for help
The best is to do it by your self, by using different file sizes, like for example too many small files, and also files with a very large size, and you can find the statistics at:
STATUS -> hardware -> Function: Server statistics
There is a disk test tool that is provided that can be used. It does a quick read/write test.
Frankly, the best way to do all your testing is to boot to a live CD type OS and run your tests there.
I use a server running DRBL and boot my test systems into an Ubuntu image where I tools like xdd, bonnie, etc to test.
