dmesg states: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2

Any Ideas how i could get the storage back up and running?
If updating the software is a solution please tell me how to update 3511 without a GUI to the latest version.

Thanks for the help

- Try to disable the USB2.x from your motherboard BIOS options, and see if that help you.
- Use another USB port (connect your DOM/USB to another USB port if available).
- Try to attach your DOM to a system running Windows O.S. and do a check disk for the DOM there.

If that did not make it work well, then you may need to re-flash the module, to do
that please follow the instructions in the following link :
http://www.kb.open-e.com/System-Corr...found_113.html

In case you get a "system corrupted" error during the system boots up, please follow this step-be-step instruction.

Download proper ISO file for your system from your user portal:

In order to update the system using ISO-image CD follow this step:
- The ISO-File must be burned on a CD with your favorite Burning software.
(For example: Nero Burning ROM - option:

“Burn Image”, etc.)
- Next please install CD-ROM. USB CD-ROM can be used as well.
- Please set the BIOS to boot from CD-ROM drive.
- Plug in the USB DOM on internal USB connector
- Then boot from the ISO-CD and wait until prompt: “Update successful. New system will boot after restart”,
- Next, please remove CD from drive and restart the system.

Also you can create a “Demo USB flash thumb” that will make your system work, for 60 days.
You can find the demo version at the following link :

And here you the steps to update old DSS to latest DSSv5 ( not DSSv6 ):
1. Download Atlanta2 (b4562) from the FTP link above;
2. Burn Atlanta2 on CD, pendrive, EDC, PQI USB DOM;
3. Put media with Atlanta2 to machine;
4. Restart version (b3xxx)
5. Boot from Atlanta2 and run "Software Installer";
6. Install Atlanta2 on b3xxx media (Configuration from b3xxx should be automatically moved to Atlanta2);
7. When installer finish, restart machine and remove Atlanta2 media, leave old-version where should be now Atlanta2 with old configuration;
8. Boot Atlanta2.
