    Question Raid Question

    Hi to all!

I have a simple question, my enterprise is about to buy the SuperMicro X9SCi-LN4F motherboard (http://www.supermicro.com/products/m...9SCi-LN4F.cfm).
It has a intel C204 PCH chipset, how i can know if the raid of this motherboard is "fake" or not?

    Thanks!!

This would be a fake raid as it shows to be a SATA controller with raid functions of 0, and 5.
    All the best,

    Todd Maxwell

it can be used with software raid, so yes, you can create a target.
