Default List write back status of volumes

How can I determine the write back/write through status on already created logical volumes?

I know how to check the raid controller to see if the raid volume group has it enabled or not. I need to be able to see if the volume group created in Open-E has the WB option enabled or not.

It's not obvious by looking via the GUI if a volume is WB enabled or not. (at least I can't see it)

    Any ideas?

By default FC volumes when enabling the LUN has the write back enabled and for the iSCSI volumes for the iSCSI Target you can enable it by selecting the WB option located in the GUI in CONFIGURATION -> iSCSI target manager -> Targets ->

If the controller has the options enabled, so does the volume.(dmeg.2 log file)
The only control in the GUI is at the target level, by checking/unchecking the WB option for each target.

I can't enable or disable it. Under "CONFIGURATION - iSCSI Target manager - Targets", when selecting a target, it shows the logical volume associated with the target (example: lv0001), but the WB option is greyed out (as is RO) and I can't select or deselect it.

How can I show the status of each target or volume and it's current writeback status?

This is correct, what you need to do is click on the "-" sign not the "+" sign then enable the WB option then click on the "+" sign to enable both the WB option and the LUN.

if you click the minus sign and disable the LUN, you can change the WB setting.
To see the current status of the volumes, open the logs and look at the dmesg files.
To se the current status of the targets, you can see that in the GUI (checked, or unchecked).
